Common Eider - Graphic Art Print
Common Eiders are considered the largest duck in the Northern Hemisphere. They dive deep to catch their meals which often consist of mollusks, sea stars, crabs and other invertebrates, swallowing them whole.
Fun fact: There is documented proof that humans have been using eider down since around the 7th century. People still collect, clean, and use eider down after the ducklings leave the nest.
