I’ve visited the Hamilton House in South Berwick, Maine many times over the years, but my first time was during a hike at Vaughn Woods with my friend, Holly. As we were walking the path sprinkled with pine needles, we decided to scramble down to the shore of the Salmon Falls River, where I stumbled upon my first view of the Hamilton House. After following the path a little further, we found the trail that led to the property. Climbing up the hill to the house, we discovered the beautiful gardens that decorate the grounds, then sat in the lush grass in front of the house soaking up the warmth of the sunshine on that beautiful day.
This artwork is now available in my Etsy shop and will also be for sale at Maine Audubon's The Nature of Craft event this coming Saturday at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, Maine. I'll be there from 10-4. Hope to see some familiar faces and meet some new people as well!
